Penny-pinchers rejoice! Those little copper coins are about to have a value again, thanks to the USPS. So dust off your piggy banks, raid your change purse, and empty all 672 pennies in that guessing jar!
They say a penny saved is a penny earned, unless you're going to the post office later this month. Starting January 22nd the USPS will be increasing the postage rate for first class stamps by $.01. The change to 45-cent stamps marks the first increase for first class since 2008.
