Tom and Lisa Slade, Owners

Tom and Lisa founded AlphaGraphics in Evansville in 1993 after having resided in various cities including Louisville, KY and San Francisco, CA. After graduating from University of Tennessee and a brief stint in the solid waste business, Tom joined Papercone Corporation, a printer and manufacturer of specialty envelope products. Five years of sales management in their Louisville plant led to a general management position overseeing Papercone's west coast operation in San Francisco. Lisa, a DePauw University graduate spent several years in pharmaceutical sales with Merck and Mead Johnson before becoming a full time mother of three children. After deciding to return to their home town Evansville the Slade's teamed up as a couple to open their alphagraphics printing business in 1993. Five years in the Eastland Shoppes Center led to the growth of their staff and equipment needs. In 1998 the Slade's purchased their current property on Vogel Road where they employ 15 outstanding employees today.
