John Thompson, Owner, President and CEO  

John Thompson has been the owner and CEO of AlphaGraphics Wilmington since 1986.

After a 13 year career in sales and business analysis with Dupont, John wanted to start his own business. In 1986, John, and his wife Diane, opened AlphaGraphics Wilmington. Using their entrepreneurial skills and customer focus, John and Diane have built a successful business celebrating over 22 years in the printing industry.

In 2003, John acquired the AlphaGraphics located in Newark. Since that time, John has joined the businesses to offer a complete line of communication services to the entire Delaware Valley through two AlphaGraphics locations.

A devoted member of the Wilmington community, John serves as Board Chair for the Brandywine Family YMCA as well as board member of the YMCA of Delaware. He and the AlphaGraphics team are generous donors to many community causes.

When he's not spending time at AlphaGraphics, John enjoys golfing and spending time with his wife Diane and family.

John has a BA from Elon University.
