Store It
It’s estimated that U.S. businesses are spending more than $25 billion a year to file, store and retrieve paper documents. If you maintain a large volume of hard copy files, let us show you how digital archiving can save you time, space and money.
When your files are stored digitally, you can easily search, retrieve, read, print and e-mail them. And, you can create a flexible and electronic database of corporate documents, such as financial statements, client files, tax and legal documents––all of which can be password-protected to restrict printing and content extraction.
AlphaGraphics offers three types of digital archiving:
- Flat File Archiving––documents are scanned into a flat PDF file format. Individual lines of text within a flat PDF file cannot be “searched.”
- OCR File Archiving––documents are scanned ino a PDF file that has gone through the process of optical character recognition (OCR). OCR recognizes and converts the letters and words of a scan into editable, searchable text for future use.
- Group IV TIF File Scanning and Encoding--compatible with litigation software programs, this method encodes the scanned files with specific information. Encoded files can be imported and, based on encodings, automatically indexed in the litigation software.
AlphaGraphics’ scanning and archiving solutions are ideal for all types of businesses— legal, insurance, financial, healthcare and construction as well as government and nonprofit organizations. Talk to us today to learn more.
