AlphaGraphics of Carrollton was started March 14th, 1994 by owners, Jim and Sally Hewell.

The business grew rapidly and gained AlphaGraphics Gold Circle Status in 1996. It has been in Quick Print Magazine’s “Top 100 Printers in the US” for many years and was ranked #43 in 2012.

Jim and Sally met at Baylor University in Waco and they were married in 1967. Before starting the business Jim was Vice President at Texas Instruments and Sally worked for Prestonwood Baptist Church.

Jim & Sally

I worked at Prestonwood Baptist Church from 1982 to 1994.  I scheduled all the office volunteers, was responsible for the mailing, copying and mailing department.  We did very large mailings, stuffing envelopes or boxes and with intense deadlines. Jim and I decided to start our own business.  We looked into AlphaGraphics 1st and never looked further.  It was a classy operation and we have never regretted the decision.  I have worked in just about every department, from shipping/delivery, front counter, production scheduling. I said I would never work in the sales department but in 2005 I decided to give it a try and I found my best and most favorite place in AlphaGraphics and this is where I will stay.

I grew up in Texas and hold a BBA degree from Baylor University and an MBA degree from the University of North Texas.   I am also a Certified Public Accountant, in addition to owning AlphaGraphics of Carrollton.  Sally and I currently live by Lake Texoma on the Texas / Oklahoma border.  We have a daughter Martie, who along with her husband Mike Cowan are part of the AlphaGraphics of Carrollton Team.

I am now in my 18th year at Alphagraphics of Carrollton. As President and Outside Sales Manager, I lead the Outside Sales Team in our full Outside Sales Process and am in charge of bringing in and maintaining profitable work to my company. I am also a Corporate Account Manager. I research, plan, estimate and organize printing, mailing and marketing projects for my customers.

My primary goal is to provide our customers with print and mail services as well as relevant, results-driven marketing strategies.

My family has owned an AlphaGraphics in Fort Worth since 1987, so after a career in corporate, my family asked if I would like to come in and be in sales. After 3 years in sales, I moved into the production side of the business. Meanwhile, I met my wife, the daughter of Jim and Sally. We decided to work under one roof and I progressed into the role of Production Manager of Digital and Bindery, eventually becoming COO.

It has been a very rewarding experience to work with such professional people and to get to work with such a great family.

My career in the printing industry began my junior year of high school. I studied offset printing at Red River Area Vo-Tech.

I started with AlphaGraphics of Carrollton in 2000 as a graphic designer. In 2007, I was promoted to Design Manager and a member of the Company Management Team. In 2010, I was promoted to Vice President and Production Manager. In October of 2014, I was promoted to Senior Vice President. I love working for AlphaGraphics.

Everyone here has a great “will do” attitude. It is such a blessing to work for such a wonderful, caring company.

I am in my 22nd year at AlphaGraphics of Carrollton this year. I started off as front counter customer service. I ran black and white along with color copies for customers. We had the newest color copier that ran at 7 copies a minute and it was fast. As we took care of our customers and continued to grow so I grew too with AlphaGraphics. I have run bindery equipment, color copiers, black and white copiers, digital presses, in side sales, outside sales, worked in marketing and even done deliveries. Currently I manage customer service and all aspects of the digital department. I look forward to another 22 years here with AlphaGraphics of Carrollton.

I started in the printing business when I was in High school, working for a family friend. I been with AlphaGraphics of Carrollton for 20 years. I started as a press operator. In 2007 I became the Pressrom Manager and oversaw the offset operations, and helped with the bindery operations. In October 2013, we started our Signs Deparment which I am now the manager. In October 2014, I was promoted to Vice President.

It’s been an amazing whirlwind of projects over the last 12 years and I wouldn't trade it for any other job in the world. This industry is fast paced and frequently chaotic, and many days around here feel like a fire drill, but that’s part of the fun.  The thrill of a challenge makes me love what I do even more.  If you need to brainstorm about how to make a difficult project happen, I’m your girl.  Or if you have a strange request that seems impossible, call me.  You would not believe the requests we get, AND actually make them happen.  To do this, you have to love the customer service side of sales, and I do.  My customers mean the world to me and making sure they get what they want, how they want it is my priority.

I’ve worked for AlphaGraphics for 6 ½ years. I absolutely enjoy working for AlphaGraphics, the people are awesome and we’re always looking for inventive new services to provide to our clients. I have been in the printing industry for twenty plus years, attended Brookhaven Community College and I have two wonderful daughters. I enjoy boating and camping.

I started working for AlphaGraphics of Carrollton about two years ago and working for this great corporation has been a fun learning experience.

I absolutely love helping customers with their creative design ideas, printing requests and marketing strategies.

At AlphaGraphics of Carrollton we are not just coworkers, we are a family that help one another.

My journey that led me to AlphaGraphics started when my family opened a printing and publishing company in Denton, Texas when I was 9 years old. I spent after school and summers with my lil sis and bubba working in production. I didn’t know back then, but I know now that once ink is in your blood it stays forever! It was only natural I jumped straight into the customer service/sales side of the business the second I was out of High School.

I love my position here with the sales team and I am so thankful to be apart of another wonderful family!

I am one of the newer team member of AlphaGraphics. My family and I moved here from Arkansas about 6 months ago. I have been in customer service for 15 years. I love working with people and enjoy the high pace world of printing. There is always something new and fresh happening here, and its definitely a family style business. Personally I love spending time with my family, eating good food,  watching sports, and being out doors.

have been with Alphagraphics for just under a year. I started here new to the printing business and I must say that I have found my home. I am proud to work for a place with such a strong work ethic.

Technology is constantly growing and so is AG right along with it. There is never a dull moment and I am always on my toes!

From the very beginning, AlphaGraphics of Carrollton has made it a practice to support the community through direct donations, participation in events, printing and marketing and very importantly through the technology of social media.

As an example, our company had a heart warming experience supporting the family of a disadvantaged child through social media.  The family's situation was given exposure through a direct AlphaGraphics Facebook campaign.

Supporting the community is a driving part of the AlphaGraphics of Carrollton mission and always will be.
