TIPS AND TRICKS
Enlarging a picture simply by expanding its dimensions is the primary cause of washed out and blurry photos. There are a few things you can do to make sure your digital or hard copy turns out looking appealing:
- With digital prints, set your resolution at 300 dpi or higher. This resolution produces the best results
- Check to see what size your image is beforehand. This will give you, and us, an idea of how big it can be. If you aren’t sure, we will gladly determine that for you
- Don’t use “image resize” to enlarge a photo. This will guarantee a heavily pixelated mess
