1. Scope
This Privacy Policy applies to information collected through the App and Services. It does not apply to third-party websites, apps, or services that may be linked from the App.
2. Information We Collect
We may collect the following categories of information, depending on how the App is configured and how you use it.
A. Information You Provide or That Event Organizers Provide
Event organizers may upload attendee information to enable App features. This may include:
- Identifiers and profile information: first name, middle name, last name, designation, company, title, bio
- Contact information: email address, phone number
- Location information (general): city, state
- Profile image: headshot or other profile photo
- Content you submit: messages, posts, images/graphics, survey/poll/Q&A responses, and other content you choose to provide
Note regarding organizer-uploaded data: If an event organizer uploaded your information to the App, the organizer's own privacy policy governs how they originally collected that data. Please refer to the event organizer's privacy policy to understand those practices.
You may be able to edit, update, or delete certain profile information within the App (subject to event configuration).
B. Device and Usage Information (Automatically Collected)
When you install or use the App, we may collect:
- Device information: device type, operating system, app version, language, time zone, device identifiers (such as advertising ID or other device IDs, as permitted by your device settings)
- Log and analytics data: IP address, approximate location derived from IP address, crash logs, performance data, and usage/activity data (e.g., screens viewed, features used, timestamps)
C. Location Information
We collect approximate location derived from your IP address automatically. We do not collect precise GPS-level location unless the App explicitly requests permission for it and you grant that permission. If precise location is requested, you will be notified at the time of the request and can control this permission in your device settings.
We do not currently enable features that require precise location. If that changes, we will update this Policy and provide any additional notice required by law.
D. Camera and Photos/Media (If Enabled)
If you choose to use features that require it (for example, scanning QR codes or uploading a profile image), the App may request access to your camera or photos/media library. You can control these permissions in your device settings.
Biometric data note: The App does not use facial recognition or extract biometric identifiers from profile photos. Photos are stored and displayed as images only. If this ever changes, we will update this Policy and provide any required consent notices before collecting biometric data.
E. QR Codes and Scanning
If you scan a session/exhibitor QR code, or if someone scans your attendee/profile QR code (or badge QR/barcode), we may process and disclose your profile information as described in Section 5.
3. How We Use Information

- Provide and operate the App and event-related features (agenda, sessions, maps, exhibitor info, attendee list, networking, chat)
- Create and display attendee profiles and attendee lists (if enabled by the event)
- Enable networking and messaging features (if enabled)
- Facilitate surveys, polls, Q&A, and engagement features, and provide results to event organizers as applicable

- Provide customer support and respond to inquiries
- Monitor, maintain, and improve the Services (including analytics, debugging, performance, and security)

4. How You Control Your Information

C. Exhibitors/Sponsors (QR Scanning and Lead Retrieval)
If you scan an exhibitor/session QR code or allow an exhibitor/sponsor/organizer to scan your QR code/badge code, you are directing us to disclose your profile information to that exhibitor/sponsor/organizer for follow-up and event-related purposes.
We may also provide aggregated or de-identified analytics to sponsors/exhibitors (where feasible) to help evaluate event engagement.
