  1. Vehicle Graphics vs Vehicle Wraps.
Know the difference between the two, because your wallet sure will.  Vehicle wraps cover more real estate on  your van, car or tuck than vehicle graphics.  This means a vehicle wrap typically covers all parts of your car, van or truck transforming your automobile into something unique and fun.   Vehicle graphics are typically cut vinyl graphics that cover small portions of the surface of your vehicle.  Typically you’ll get vehicle decals or graphics for your truck (van or car) doors, rear doors, sides or hood. Because vehicle wraps take more time to design, more material and more time to install, they are most of the time much more expensive than vehicle graphics.  By the way, If you need your truck lettered or tuck lettering, give Alphagraphics a call to discuss: 508-793-0956.
  1. You CAN wash your wrapped vehicle.  But Use Soap and water.
We do not recommend going through a car wash to wash your car, truck or van after it is wrapped. But you can use soap and water and hand wash the vehicle.  For best results, hand wash your van, car or truck once a week.
  1. Full Vehicle Wraps Can Protect Your Paint.
Imagine putting a nice protective blanket around every aspect of the surface of your vehicle.  That would protect your car, van or truck from small dings and scrapes that you get from normal wear and tear.  Well, an adhesive vinyl vehicle wrap is the same thing, but even better.  The wrap will preserve the paint and when you take the wrap off, the car can look as good as the day you wrapped it. If it was a brand new car, the paint will look just as nice.  The 3M vinyl we use is top of the line and will even protect from UV rays to stop fading.
  1. Unless you are professional, or have experience, you will probably damage the vehicle if YOU remove the graphics.
Go to a professional sign shop or vehicle wrap company to have them remove your vinyl wrap or graphics.  The process is fairly easy, but does require a heat gun and some other tools.  If you are not a trained professional, this can lead to damage.   Contact Alphagraphics and talk with our AG SIGNS department to discuss your next vehicle graphics, truck lettering, fleet graphics or vehicle wrap needs.
