What is Direct-to-Film?
Direct-to-Film, or DTF, is a process that digitally prints on fabric, allowing for low quantities with detailed full color design.
What kinds of apparel can it be used on?
This process can only be used on 100% cotton - similar to the reaction that occurs in dye-sublimation, the ink binds to the natural fibers of the cotton.
What are some common uses for Dye Sublimation?
This process is great for any cotton apparel. Many clients use it in coordination with embroidery to create a logo on the front of the shirt and a full-color design on the back of the shirt.
What is White Ink?
This type of ink is brand new to the DTF technology scene, and allows for printing light colors on dark shirts, as well as having white in the designs. The industry standard is CMYK, so AlphaGraphics of the Palm Beaches is proud to bring you this extended capability.
