How to use posters to promote any brand

Let's talk posters!   No, not the 18 x 24'' image of Justin Bieber you wish your teenage daughter would remove from her bedroom door, so that you don't have to see it every time you take a trip down the hallway. Instead, think of them as a display board for the message to your audience. Every brand or company can use posters. They are an easy way to display information on a grand scale. Posters are great for infographics and imagery paired with a call to action. People who will view the posters are already actively engaging in their environment. Strategically place them where you know they will be seen by those who will respond to your call to action. If you want to promote an event, place them in hotels or restaurants near the venue (with the owner's permission of course!) Speaking of events....think of how many people attend all of the different events in your community! Use this as an opportunity to put up some posters and let them do the rest of the work. If your city is hosting a conference of 500 people, why not put up 50 posters around the event space with a QR code link to your awesome new meetings app?  They are a great tool to get exposure without a ton of effort, or money for that matter. Although bigger IS usually better with large format printing, there is no standard size for poster printing. Have fun with the design and make it something people will stop and take a look at.
