The Evolution of AlphaGraphics Kansas City

Join us as we take a look at the Evolution of AlphaGraphics Kansas City! Infographic AGKC Beginning in 2009 with a cloudy reputation, the Haar's embarked on a new adventure that would soon bring nothing but sunshine! Haley & Matt Haar purchased AlphaGraphics Kansas City. Ross Sanders joined the AGKC team in February 2010. He was a great addition then and continues to contribute his experience and talent as our Production Manager. Later in 2010 AlphaGraphics KC added new equipment and became members of the Kansas City Convention & Visitors Association, now known as Visit KC. Twenty-Eleven rolled in with a new digital color printer, but that's not all... That year also earned the first ever $50,000 sales month! 2012 was a busy year! AlphaGraphics Kansas City welcomed 3 little bundles of joy! Molly Angle joined the team mid-year when Stacy Marti left for college. Molly is now our Community Relations Manager. In October 2012, Scott Crawford, Project Manager, was welcomed aboard bringing years of sign & design experience to our team! in 2013, another baby was born, we joined the Downtown Council and installed a shiny new HP Latex wide format printer. 2014 was another big year! AGKC not only introduced agSigns, but also added a GBC laminator to the equipment lineup. AlphaGraphics KC became Big Breakfast sponsors and received the first FIVE star review on Google! That year also brought a $75,000 sales month. AlphaGraphics said goodbye to that original color printer and said hello to a brand new digital color machine. In July 2014 AGKC moved to the new location in the Crossroads District, joined an AG Peer Group, and hired Lauren Sweeney as our new Press Operator. Our clients also showed us what it felt like to really break records with a $125,000 sales month! Twenty-Fifteen brought 2 new pieces of equipment, an auto-creaser and a Summa plotter, both of which expended our in-house printing capabilities. We later became members of the Crossroads Community Association. In July we were recognized as the "Most Improved" center within the AlphaGraphics franchise and achieved "Silver Circle" status. August brought our next team member, Relationship Manager, Allison Cade. We will continue to grow, learn, and love the passion we all share for this company and industry.
