We provide all the major binding styles. Here are some details on our most common binding styles:
SADDLE STITCH is popular for thinner books, instruction manuals, programs, and look books. Saddle stitch books can come in a variety of unique sizes, but cannot have a large number of pages.
COMB BIND books use a plastic comb to hold pages together. Comb binding is great for large books that need to lay flat like instruction manuals, medical periodicals, and educational manuals. You go up to approximately 2 inches for comb bound documents.
WIRE BINDING is an elegant choice for documents that have an aesthetic element. Threading wire through punched holes, wire bound books also lay flat when open. Due to the punching, make sure the text is not close to the edges. Wire bind books lay-flat, making them good for instruction manuals, cook books, and presentations.
SPIRAL OR COIL BINDING uses a smooth round coil to hold pages together. Coil bound books can lie-flat, or they can be turned around to the back, making them great for a large variety of mid-sized books.
LAY FLAT BINDING is a high-quality binding technique that allows your bound books to not only lay flat when open, it provides an unbroken, 2 page spread. Layflat books are great for presentations that contain lots of high quality or detailed images and illustrations, making them perfect for creative client presentations.
