Which displays can I use outdoors?
Start with our Outdoor Approved Signs and Outdoor Flags, plus our pop-up tents. They use weighted, fillable or staked bases made for outdoor use. Check the wind rating on each product page before you choose. The Event Billboard is rated for winds up to 14 MPH, the Flex Tent up to 15 MPH and the Angled Banner up to 20 MPH. A few items, like the 16ft Arch Tent, are for indoor use only.
What happens if it gets windy or rains?
Our flags and tents are built for outdoor events, not storms. Feather, teardrop, straight and edge flags are not made for adverse weather or high winds, and weather damage is not covered by the product warranty. Using a tent in adverse weather voids its warranty. If you use a fillable base like the Heavy Duty Sign's, fill it with sand instead of water when temperatures drop below 40°F.
Can I get double-sided graphics?
On many displays, yes. Feather and teardrop flags, the 2-Sided Retractable Banner, the Double-Sided Outdoor Banner, the Event Billboard and several A-frames all take graphics on both sides. Some stands are single-sided, including the Premium and Economy Retractable Banners. Each product page lists double-sided capability under More Information so you can compare before you start a project.
How do I choose between a retractable banner and a fabric backdrop?
A retractable banner is a single portable sign, about 31 to 33 inches wide, that rolls into its base. It works well in a lobby, at the corner of a booth or at a check-in table. A fabric backdrop fills the wall behind your booth. The Fabric Backdrop is 7.5 feet wide and almost 10 feet tall. Many booths use one backdrop and one or two banners.
Do you have design templates?
Yes, for many products. Look for the Download Design Template section on each product page. If a product has no template, or you'd rather not set up the file yourself, tell us when you start a project. Our team will help you get the artwork sized and finished for the display you chose.
Can I keep the hardware and change the graphic later?
Yes. Many of our frames are built for quick graphic changes. Snap frames open and close around a new poster. The Deluxe A-Frame uses slide-in panels with no screws or bolts. Fabric displays like the Tension Backdrop use zip-on graphics. When your message changes, start a project for a new graphic and keep using the hardware.
