From simple black and white copies, to full-color digital printing, AlphaGraphics Camelback utilizes only "best-in-class" equipment to meet your needs. We do not use standard office equipment, but true, production level professional equipment to fill our 10,000 square foot Camelback business center. From Xerox Docutech Nuvera 144 Production Publishers, to HP Indigo 7900 full-color digital presses, we can produce exceptional quality from almost any electronic format. And, we also are a full service offset printing facility with both one, two and four color process Heidelberg offset printing presses. Our Heidelberg DI press is capable of printing full color images at incredible quality and clarity. Our newest press, the Ryobi DI press offers 300 dpi quality and has a closed-loop color management system onboard. We also offer a complete array of finishing and mailing equipment, prepress systems on both Apple Macintosh and PC platforms, large format HP eco-friendly water based latex ink, and Epson inkjet poster printers and plotters.
Design and prepress equipment
Our graphic design department consists of full-time, graduate Graphic Designers. In addition to their education and experience, they are equipped with the absolute latest hardware and software on both Macintosh and PC platforms (Adobe Indesign, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Quark). They are connected on a high speed internal network to each other and all the digital devices throughout the operation. They are connected to the internet through high speed fiber connections and to our clients through our informative, user-friendly websites.
Digital printing and copying equipment
Our combined fleet of full-featured, digital black/white and color printers is made up of the latest models manufactured by Xerox and HP. This productive fleet gives us the capability to produce large jobs, at the highest print quality available, within very short periods of time. If required, we can produce black and white prints/copies at a rate of 875 per minute and color prints/copies at a rate of 250 per minute. All machines are equipped with the latest in feed, collating, duplexing and finishing options appropriate to their use.
Offset printing equipment
Our full-featured, two-color and four-color printing presses, manufactured by Heidelberg, are equipped with the latest labor saving devices and automation. These features, coupled with our digital computer-to-plate imaging system, give us the ability to produce top quality work with very fast turnaround times. Full color process printing is produced onsite or offsite, at a centralized AlphaGraphics facility, depending on the sheet size and run length of the project.
Digital services equipment
Coupled with our state-of-the-art equipment, our digitally trained and experienced staff can perform a wide variety of digital services, including, but not limited to digital printing, both black & white and full color, utilizing high speed Raster Imaging Processors (RIP) to high resolution printers, both standard size and large format, mixed-media capabilities, from scanned image, CD-ROM/DVD-ROM or Internet transferred files, PC or Macintosh formatted for file conversion, manipulation and printing; high resolution scanning, for document archiving, Optical Character Recognition (OCR) for text editing, enlarging for large format production; Image scanning, photo enhancement and color correction for inclusion in new documents; document distribution, CD-ROM and DVD-ROM production and replication
Large format printing
Our full-featured, full-color large format poster printers, manufactured by HP, Oce and Epson, are equipped with the latest high speed RIP devices and control stations to attain the highest quality prints in the least amount of time. We can print full color posters that are 43" and 61" wide by 100 feet tall. We also have a full line of GBC laminating and mounting equipment for all your presentation needs. We have also recently added equipment to handle outdoor graphics and presentation banners including vehicle wraps.
Bindery, mailing and finishing equipment
No job is complete until it is professionally trimmed, folded, shrink-wrapped and boxed. We also offer a complete mailing department specializing in both first class and standard bulk mailings. We also offer scoring, perforating, coil and perfect binding along with many other finishing services. Our mailing equipment will process your mailing list, add the required ZIP+four zip and bar codes allowing you to lower all your postage costs. Most recently, we added software that automatically updates your mailing lists using the Post Office's National Change of Address database (NCOA).
